Meet Gregory Daum, DO

Dr. Daum sees himself as a health facilitator. He believes the human body is wonderfully designed to seek health, and he believes his role as a physician is to support the body in that process. Dr. Daum attempts to minimize use of medications, lab testing, and imaging if possible. However, he believes it’s a blessing to have these resources to find health if necessary.

“To find health should be the object of the doctor. Anyone can find disease.” – Andrew Taylor Still, founder of osteopathic medicine.

Dr. Daum’s enjoys the diversity of medical conditions he is able to manage as a family physician. But his primary reason for becoming a family medicine physician was the love for developing long-term relationships with his patients and family members. Dr. Daum is honored to hear the stories and walk with his patients through their journey toward health.

Dr. Daum & his wife moved to Alaska in 2022. The plan was to move away after a few years after his wife completed her service at JBER. However, the beauty of Alaska lured them into staying in the area. They have 2 (soon to be 3) beautiful, energetic children. Dr. Daum is proud to see patients as part of the PCA team of providers in Eagle River.
